I expected a long wait time and a long appointment, being that I was actively in pain and my appointment was in the middle of the day. But I was seen even before I finished my intake paperwork. Dr. Mancuso was able to give me a provisional diagnosis right away, explaining what was causing my pain in easy-to-understand terms, and sent me to an in-office tech to confirm. I got nerve and muscle testing onsite, which again, I didn’t have to wait for and didn’t take long. The testing is with electrical currents and then with needles. The tech who administered the testing checked in with me frequently to ensure I was ok, offered me water, and explained each step AND asked for my consent before beginning each step of each procedure. The testing confirmed Dr. Mancuso’s provisional diagnosis and he outlined the plan for further testing MRI and my initial tx plan, including medications and stretching.
