This meaning that you and I would identify and focus on existing traits and attributes to assist in your transformation into your best self. I truly believe that you already possess what you need to heal and simply require guidance in the form of empowerment and education. Through increased self-awareness and skill acquisition you can reach your goals and live life to the fullest. Most importantly I will provide you with a nonjudgmental environment to share as little or as much as you feel comfortable and use empathy throughout all our interactions. Trust is the foundation to any relationship, and it is essential in the therapeutic relationship. We will work together as a team on building this type of trusting and safe relationship to support your healing and growth. I utilize several types of interventions within therapy and all rooted in evidence-based approaches – such as Integrative Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Applied Behavioral Analysis. My ideal clients are those individuals who are seeking improvements in their lives who may need some guidance and support from a skilled clinician. I firmly believe in trust as the basis for any relationship and so it is something I will work on building with clients beginning in the first session.
