Alex has a way of connecting with me on several different levels. I appreciate the care, and being able to listen. He is attentive and able to really be present. I appreciate the visit, and feel better after I leave.
He always has different ways of viewing things, and gives sound advice. The visits are very helpful and I would recommend him to others.

Alex is easy to build rapport with and to open up to. His space is judgement free as well. Would recommend. I also appreciate he specializes in a niche (trauma) and incorporates his own spin on each session, tailoring them to fit the person.

You don’t need a diagnosed condition to benefit from talking to someone. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all and can be anything you want it to be, so I utilize a person-centered approach tailored to you. You are the focus. Your experience, your goals, desired results, and expectations from therapy will be the first topic. I approach the therapeutic relationship with intent to develop a supportive, empathetic, and beneficial relationship that remains fluid in order to best meet your personal needs for emotional growth, processing, and understanding of deep-seated reactions to the environment around us. I provide a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment that utilizes a unique range of integrative techniques that allows you to challenge, reflect, and accept yourself. My clients describe me as calm, safe, and real. The work that I have done focuses mainly on trauma, exploring coping strategies, and grounding activities to help us when our emotions get too big to handle.
I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I have advanced training in hypnosis, hypnotherapy, and somatic interventions. I also offer breathwork exercises, mindfulness practices, and psychedelic integration. I believe in the role of attachment-based & somatic-based interventions which allow for the healing of the nervous system, including integrative modalities of EMDR and Hypnotherapy. While I have experience in treating many conditions, I specialize in treating trauma or adverse life experiences (PTSD), anxiety, and depressive disorders.
