Ali was born and raised in New Jersey and has visited South Florida to visit her grandmother since she was a little girl. Ali moved to South Florida in 2010 after walking through her own hardships and seeking change and growth. Ali always knew she had a passion for helping people and understanding the complexity of human emotions, thoughts and behavior. After finishing her undergraduate degree at Florida Atlantic University in Psychology, she continued her education at Barry University where she completed a dual master’s program in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage Family Therapy. Later she became licensed in both Mental Health Counseling & Marriage Family Therapy.
Ali has extensive experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders and working with families and couples in distress. She has worked with adolescents, adults, families and couples. Helping people overcome difficulties and live life with purpose, laughter and happiness is her utmost goal.
