I'm here to offer you a space where we can explore life's inevitable challenges together. My practice is built on a foundation of understanding, acceptance, and tailored strategies to help you navigate the complexities of everyday life. My passion is rooted in working with clients through anxiety, OCD, eating disorders and body image issues, substance use and/or misuse, and more. Additionally, I support those facing relationship concerns, life transitions, and the intricacies of new parenthood. Through our collaborative work, you'll develop insights and tools to enhance your healing journey.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from New York University, which informs my compassionate and evidence-based approach to therapy.

Alexis had a way of making the therapy experience not a completely frightening time. I have always been hesitant to really give therapy a try. Even though there are so many people who say how helpful it can be, I did not fully believe in it for so long. I am so glad I gave Alexis at Resilience Therapy a shot. I can really see a future that is less painful for me now, even if it will take some time to talk it all through and piece together my new life - without the body shaming I have been directing towards myself for so many years. I'm excited to see what is next, and if you are reading this and wondering if this could be a good fit - just give them a call and give yourself the space to try something new.
