You’re feeling anxiety in the pit of your stomach and the feeling won’t go away. You can’t sleep because your thoughts feel all-consuming, leaving you restless. You’re incredibly worried and you don’t even know why. Your heart is racing. You take deep breaths to try to slow it all down. You’re exhausted because you can’t access your inner peace. Mental tools don’t seem to work, because so much of your anxiety is carried in your body.
I offer evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, CFT, EMDR and ERP, coupled with somatic tools to gently guide you toward peace and ease. With a Master’s degree from Boston University and a decade of professional figure skating experience, I bring a mind-body approach to therapy that supports emotional regulation and nervous system soothing.
I work with individuals and couples. My work with couples is informed by evidence-based modalities such as the Gottman Method, which is considered the gold standard for couples counseling. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I earned a master’s degree in literature, which supports my integration of narrative and embodied practices to help individuals and couples explore new perspectives and deepen their healing.
