I've had two sessions with Alissa so far, and I've felt that she picks up on deep-rooted issues quite quickly. She has great intuition and is evidently experienced. The sessions have been really helpful in guiding me towards certain actions while not being imposing. She's simply enabled me to make my own informed decisions. I genuinely appreciate her time and insight!

I am Alissa, a licensed mental health clinician specializing in trauma and addictions. I empower adolescents and adults to overcome addictions, anxiety, depression, unstable moods, and relationship conflicts. I hold a Master's in Counselor Education from Florida International University and am certified in trauma, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and addictions.
I enjoy teaching coping skills and creating a safe space to get to the root of your struggles. Together, we can identify what's not working and help you regain balance. We'll use a self-approach that addresses your unique needs, empowering you to develop a stronger relationship with yourself.
I aim to create a safe space because I strongly believe that speaking where you feel validated promotes healing and growth. I'll meet you with compassion, empathy, and valuable techniques so you can overcome anything that may be holding you back.
