Amanda is an incredible and experienced practitioner whose professionalism spans a variety of backgrounds, which I could tell immediately. Her warmth and transparency allowed me to open up and release so much trauma, because I could tell she truly understood. She will DO HER JOB!!

Amanda is an integrative therapist who works with clients on developing holistic wellness. She uses a person-centered approach to meet each person's individual needs. Amanda believes in creating a safe space to explore what is going on internally and how that affects our day-to-day lives. She assists clients with developing a sense of self, working through shame, accomplishing goals, identifying and managing emotions, and finding a sense of healing.
Amanda has experience working with addiction, depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, trauma, self-harm, and self-esteem. She provides individual counseling to adolescents and adults of all ages. Amanda uses psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing, among other therapeutic techniques, to assist clients in healing and creating change.
Amanda earned her Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Albany, which has equipped her with a strong foundation to support her integrative and client-centered approach.
