Hello, I'm Amanda. Are you feeling anxious, constantly worrying, overthinking, and feeling on edge? Do you often imagine the worst-case scenario and get stuck thinking about it over and over? Do you find yourself becoming frustrated or even angry over seemingly small events, and you have no idea why? Maybe your relationship with your significant other, co-workers, kids, or friends is beginning to suffer. You just want to feel peace and contentment. You want to feel like yourself again. I am here to help.
My counseling style is warm and calming. I focus on building a supportive and therapeutic relationship with you so that you will feel comfortable talking about your worries, fears, and challenges. In addition to working through your thoughts and emotions, we will also focus on building coping skills to help you thrive even in challenging moments.
I hold a Master's degree (MA) and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My areas of specialization include ADHD, family relationships, life transitions, stress, anxiety, and OCD. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth sessions, making it easier for you to access care from the comfort of your home.
