Hello and thank you for taking the time to get to know a bit more about me. I was born and raise in the Midwest and ventured west to California. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from John F Kennedy University in the Bay Area. As your chosen provider, I will collaborate with you to ensure your specific therapy goals are achieved. Primarily, I work from a Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approach, but I have vast experience is various modalities, so I am well equipped to meet your specific needs.
Since 2016, I have served as a Psychologist at Valley State Prison, working with the incarcerated male population. Substance abuse treatment, dual diagnosis, and mood disorders are just a few of the issues that I commonly address with my clients while working in the prison. Although challenging, I greatly value working with this population because often times, vulnerable populations such as this, have difficulty receiving the treatment or support necessary for rehabilitation.
