Angana is Truly exceptional therapist. I came in overwhelmed by OCD and trauma and now I finally feel like I can breathe again. Their blend of expertise and empathy is rare.
I appreciate how clearly Angana explains the “why” behind OCD behaviors. Understanding the cycle helped me feel empowered to interrupt it. Highly recommended.

More about Angana Cash, LMSW

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the United States. Anxiety can be significantly disabling and negatively impact our mood and quality of life. It's not uncommon for someone with an anxiety disorder to also suffer from depression. You are tired of experiencing symptoms of anxiety including intrusive, racing, and ruminative thoughts that seemingly don't stop, feeling on constant edge, and worrying all the time. You may also feel anxiety present itself as uncomfortable sensations in your body. You, however, have already made the most courageous step, which is to look for a solution. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and have been trained as an anxiety specialist. In therapy, I will teach you the root causes of why symptoms of anxiety are seemingly taking over your life, establish personal treatment goals toward attaining serenity and inner peace, and provide therapeutic relief using evidence-based interventions, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), known to decrease symptoms of anxiety. You deserve to stop feeling overwhelmed to the point of exhaustion by freeing yourself from symptoms of anxiety. I treat anxiety, OCD, and related disorders, and I am here to give you the relief and serenity you deserve. I am looking forward to working with you!

I appreciate how clearly Angana explains the “why” behind OCD behaviors. Understanding the cycle helped me feel empowered to interrupt it. Highly recommended.
I’ve worked with several therapists over the years, but none have come close to the level of insight and emotional empathy that Angana brings to her work. Her understanding of OCD is not only clinical and thorough, but also deeply human. She sees beyond the surface symptoms and truly understands the emotional toll OCD can take. What stands out most about Angana is her ability to make you feel genuinely seen and heard. She never rushes the process, never dismisses a fear, and always meets you with compassion—even in the most vulnerable moments. Her insight into the patterns and pain behind OCD has helped me connect dots I never could on my own. Through her guidance, I’ve learned to approach my thoughts with more curiosity and less fear. Her combination of expertise, empathy, and intuition creates a space that feels both safe and transformative. I’ve grown so much not just in managing my OCD, but in understanding myself more deeply. Can not be thankful enough!
Working with Angana in the past has been truly life-changing. As someone who has struggled with OCD for years, finding a therapist who genuinely understands the condition—and knows how to treat it effectively—has made all the difference. Angana is incredibly knowledgeable about OCD and uses evidence-based approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) in a way that feels both structured and deeply supportive. They have a remarkable ability to explain how OCD works and to guide you through the discomfort of facing fears without ever feeling pushed too far or misunderstood. What sets them apart is their empathy, patience, and unwavering belief in your ability to get better. I’ve learned how to manage my intrusive thoughts and resist compulsions in ways I never thought possible. Each session is a balance of challenging work and compassionate care—and the progress I’ve made is something I never thought I’d experience. Highly Recommend. August 2025
I can't recommend Ms. Cash enough! From the moment I started therapy with her, I felt truly understood and supported. As someone who has struggled with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) for years, finding a therapist who not only listens but truly understands the complexities of these issues was life-changing. She is extremely knowledgeable about the latest therapeutic techniques for treating OCD, anxiety, and related disorders. Her approach is both compassionate and practical. We’ve worked on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) techniques, which have significantly helped me manage my symptoms. Every session feels like a step forward, even on the harder days. One thing I really appreciate is how she tailors her approach to fit my specific needs and goals. She understands that everyone's experience with mental health is unique, and she's very patient with me as I work through my challenges.
I had an excellent experience with Ms. Cash. From the very first session, they created a safe, non-judgmental space where I felt comfortable opening up. Their approach is both empathetic and professional—they really listen, ask thoughtful questions, and offer guidance that feels personalized and grounded. What stood out most was how seen and heard I felt during each session. Ms. Cash helped me gain clarity on a number of issues and gave me practical tools to manage my mental health outside of our sessions. Whether you're starting therapy for the first time or continuing your journey, I highly recommend them. Booking through Zocdoc was seamless, and their office was welcoming and highly organized. I'm genuinely grateful to have found such a supportive therapist.
Provider chewed a candy bar through the session, while asking very intrusive questions for a six year old to hear. I gave the office this feedback. The man I spoke with was very compassionate and said this is their standard intake process. In my options, intake question about depression, self harm, etc. should be able to be completed prior to the appointment with the parent rather than asking in front of a child. Or maybe even with the parent during the first session without their child. Terrible experience, we will never be returning.
