My name is Angela Grau, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who approaches all clinical work as a collaborative experience moving towards your therapeutic goals. My specialties are life stressors, mood disorders, emotion regulation, self-development, and self-esteem.
My approach
I typically use an integrated approach with the main focus on cognitive and narrative theories. The way we think and talk about ourselves and the world has major consequences on our feelings and behaviors.

I work with adults from 18+ with a range of conditions. I typically work with mood and adjustment disorders.
My communication style
I create a safe, welcoming, and collaborative environment that is personalized to the client in front of me. It feels like we collaborate on the most accurate and helpful narrative and interventions together.

I am called to provide therapeutic interventions and assist people reach their full potential by navigating their human experience and real-life stressors.
My goals for you
I approach goal setting with clients as a "one thing at a time" routine in which we start with small steps in order to move through to our ultimate goals.
My first session with you
Clients should expect the first session to be a meet and greet in order to discern that we are a good fit to work together. I will discuss my practice as well as conduct a full assessment. I leave space to explore questions and thoughts you may have and go from there!
