First, I want to commend you for seeking change and opportunity for your own life or as a support for your child. Accepting the possibility for positive change is the hardest part!
My name is Aubrey and I specialize in family dynamics with children and parents, and the many complex interactions involved. These can include individual struggles, family conflict, divorce and separation, behavioral challenges, pressures at school/work, communication, generalized anxiety, questions about life purpose, self-expression, peer conflict, life skills, grief and loss, etc. I work with children, parents, and adult individuals.
I typically utilize expressive play and expressive arts modalities when working with children. These tools are also available when working with adults of all ages, if you find them helpful. I am available in-person in my West Boulder office, or for telehealth sessions.
I typically utilize cognitive behavioral and relational therapy techniques that meet you or your child exactly where you/they are, and as you/they are. While it can be self-empowering to have goals in mind before therapy starts, we can always make these goals together. Come as you are and together, we will do the rest. LGBTQIA+ accepting and celebrating.
