Getting to know Ayla Fleming

Are you overwhelmed, frustrated, or even physically ill due to dysfunctional family or relationship dynamics? Are you struggling with a loved one's addiction or mental illness? Perhaps you're contemplating divorce or cutting ties but are still uncertain about that decision. Is your childhood trauma being repeated on loop in your relationships? I help clients build (or re-build) healthy relationships with themselves and others after trauma. I am a trauma-informed therapist, experienced with PTSD, boundary setting, and attachment styles. I also have firsthand life experience with codependency, loving someone with an addiction or mental illness, and loss of self. I provide individual, couples, or family psychotherapy to help people break free of self-defeating habits or overfunctioning. Your past does not need to dictate your future! I will help you escape the maze. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University at Albany and a certificate from Rutgers University. Please note I am an insurance-friendly practice but an out-of-network provider. Many people have out-of-network benefits included in their plans. I am happy to submit insurance paperwork on your behalf if you'd like.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I live in Philly, I am exclusively a video therapy provider, and my fee is $250/session for individuals and $300/session for couples and families.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We will use the Intake appointment to get to know one another and ensure we both feel we're a good fit.

Initial session: $250 for 90 minutes

Ongoing session: $250 for 53 minutes

Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork

Please note I have a cash pay practice. Some of my clients are able to submit for and receive reimbursement for up to 80% of the session fee if they have out-of-network insurance benefits.
