During these difficult and challenging times, I am here to work with you to help you find more stability and ease anxiety and stress. Whether your issues began before the pandemic, were worsened during it, or arose because of it, we can meet using video or phone appointments until it is truly safe to get together in person in my office. It might help to know that I accept many insurances—Aetna, Beacon (for Emblem Health), Blue Cross, Cigna, GHI, Oxford, Magellan, Medicare, and United Health, also known as Optum. My long experience in private practice (25 years) and work in various settings prior to that (hospitals, schools, mental health clinics) has helped me develop various ways of helping you. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from New York University and a Certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from The Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
