OH
Hi there, I'm Christine! My goal is to make therapy helpful and meaningful to you by taking a collaborative approach that addresses your unique needs and goals. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety. I also specialize in working with people who are navigating challenging life transitions and who have experienced trauma. I am here to provide a safe and supportive environment where we can work together to make progress towards your therapy goals. I welcome you to reach out whenever you feel ready to take that important step. My approach We will tailor our work together based on your therapy goals and preferences for treatment. I offer and use evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), that focus on helping people to identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to symptoms of depression and anxiety. I also use Interpersonal Therapy for Depression (IPT-D) which helps people to process emotions and learn skills to assist in navigating challenging life transitions, relationship difficulties, feelings of grief and social isolation when one or more of these areas is contributing to symptoms of depression. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is another therapy I use to help people learn mindfulness skills, distress tolerance skills, emotion regulation tools and ways to increase interpersonal effectiveness. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) focuses on recovering from trauma experiences and is another evidence-based therapy I offer. We will collaborate to identify your goals for therapy and review the therapy options to address those goals. I take a flexible and collaborative approach to treatment planning that always focuses on helping you to make the progress in therapy that is most important to you.
