Hello, I'm Brandy Mohn. I became a therapist to empower others as they find their own paths of meaning and purpose. My approach integrates trauma-informed Expressive Arts therapy with more traditional treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Existential-Humanistic Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I believe that we are driven to make meaning out of our experiences and that we all have the power to create a life of purpose. Sometimes, we need a space to heal and connect as we create.
I hold a BA in Religious Studies, where I focused on Eastern philosophy and comparative spiritual pathways. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, concentrating on life transitions, particularly the stage of emerging adulthood, and spirituality. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in working with anxiety, children's and adolescent mental and behavioral health, depression, life transitions, PTSD, trauma, spirituality, and stress.
Currently, I am accepting adult telehealth clients. However, I am excited to announce that I will begin offering in-person sessions in a studio setting for teens and adults starting in September 2024. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your experiences, heal, and grow.
