My name is Brenda Amundson and I am an LMHC. I primarily work with Adults. The modalities that I utilize during session are the person-centered modality, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Modality (CBT) and the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Modality (DBT). Within my sessions I approach therapy with compassion and empathy. I see every client as a unique individual that I alter my approach to what suits them best. I treat each client with respect and kindness. I have experience working with a diverse population either individually, with their family or with their partner. I work to empower my clients to be able to handle whatever life situations come their way. I know a vast amount of coping strategies that I attempt to pass onto my clients for them to be able to utilize them to be able to help themselves through any intense emotions they may feel.
