My initial reason for seeing Brian was to cease taking medications other psychologists and psychiatrists had prescribed for depression. I will forever be impressed with the professionalism, depth Of knowledge, understanding and compassion it took to go through this difficult process with me. For many years Other psychologists and psychiatrists I worked with didn't seem to know what actually causes depression yet with Brian we got to the root of the problem and what depression actually is right from the start. This changed my life and I continue to see the benefit of addressing how psychology functions within it. I no longer take any medications, have a greater sense of well being overall and enjoy my life without depression. His direct approach to contemporary psychology in addition to the books and articles recommended to support an understanding of both personal and broader psychology I appreciate and find refreshing.
Brian has been my therapist for the past nine years and sessions With him continue to be illuminating and indispensable in pursuing and maintaining happiness. Our latest therapy session was no exception; he continued to be focused and in a friendly, caring manner helped me to identify thoughts and behaviors helpful or detrimental to being happy, and to realize ways to emphasize the former while minimizing the latter. I wholeheartedly recommend him as a therapist.

Excellent. Insightful and direct, Brian has helped me confront my fears and assumptions about myself and the world. A pleasure to talk to/work with.
Brain is a wonderful & talented psychotherapist. I first came to him 8 years ago & I'm now far more confident $ successful as a person. I have a solid understanding of what mental health truly means & the skills to be happy & successful no matter what my life circumstances are - through relationships, job changes, etc. Also, when I Was a kid, I was diagnosed with ADD & was on medication & never knew if I would be able to function without it. But by working with Brian, I just naturally stopped taking it & I haven't needed it for 6 years now. I am Highly thankful to Brain & I highly recommend him. it's the best investment you'll ever make
