Brian Flynn is a warm, compassionate, and present Clinical Therapist. He has over 15+ years of experience working with adults and families in a variety of clinical settings. With Brian, clients will engage in a nonjudgmental, collaborative, and creative process. Brian helps clients see their strengths and identify thought processes and behaviors that are counterproductive to their well-being. Mr. Flynn believes that when people take an active role in making life changes, it is a very challenging and courageous experience. He is respectful of this process. Through direct experience and advanced training, Brian has developed expertise in using a variety of evidence-based practice interventions. These include, Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Resilience Counseling, mindfulness, somatic processing, distress tolerance, and harm reduction. Brian provides therapy for individuals dealing with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, chronic physical health issues, dependence, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and relationship dysfunction. Brian earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Outside of Brian’s practice, his personal goal for living is to be intentionally kind and present. Brian enjoys cycling, hiking, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
