I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 19 years of experience working with adolescents and adults to provide Individual, Group, and Couples Therapy.
I have worked at several hospitals including Northwell Zucker Hillside Hospital and SUNY Upstate Medical University where I was also a clinical instructor and provided supervision.
Some other areas of my specialty include borderline personality disorder and addictions.
My approach is based on evidenced-based treatments. I am always working from a psychodynamic model, but I am also trained in cognitive and behavioral treatments that may be more appropriate in certain circumstances. We will work together to gain insight and change longstanding negative patterns that are impacting your sense of well-being. The goal of psychotherapy is to create and sustain a happier and more fulfilling life.
