Hi there, I'm Carol!
Seems like I've been a therapist for a long time. Actually, I thought I might retire and then COVID showed up. I felt that I had to do something to help some of the people who had been affected by its ramifications. I did write a book that provided some tips and meditations for coping during the pandemic. It didn't seem like enough though. (I really love what I do.) So here I am. I generally come from a CBT (cognitive behavioral ) perspective. CBT has been shown to be very effective in resolving several types of issues and problems. But really, I'll pull from other modalities if it's in the best interest of my people. After all, it's not about me, it is about my clients.
