As a society, we understand that our physical health will fluctuate throughout life and it is common practice to take steps to prolong wellness and prevent disease. In order to be the most balanced and effective versions of ourselves we must take similar action when it comes to our mental and emotional health. Therapy is one way that we can begin to do that work.
My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate and direct. I often work from a CBT framework, but my approach is centered on looking at your needs through a more individualized lens, and I rely upon a variety of interventions, including mindfulness, meditation and yoga based tools to increase self-awareness and build self-compassion.
Whether you are seeking therapy for a loved one or for yourself, I am here with you to be a nonjudgmental and collaborative support as you tend to your emotional and mental health. My role offers me an opportunity to assist and empower you to overcome your current challenges, whether it be through thoughtful change, emotional processing, or skills training so that you can improve relationships with loved ones, increase effective communication and enter or re-enter a place of peace within yourself.
