Christine completed her undergraduate degree In Biochemistry and after graduating decided to pursue her passion for equestrian sports. An injury side-lined her career and she decided to pursue her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Mercy College. After working for over 15 years in different settings, Christine became frustrated with lack of time she had with patients and the inability to treat patients in a holistic manner so she decided to open Core Balance Physical Therapy.
Christine has almost 20 years of experience in treating chronic pain and orthopedic injuries. Christine has completed extensive training during her career in manual therapy techniques including a trigger point therapy certification, LSVT Big treatment for patient's with Parkinson's Disease, craniosacral and visceral therapy, joint and soft tissue mobilization techniques, and functional movement training. Christine’s interest in holistic medicine led her to become certified in Yoga Tune Up®, Prana Yoga, and Pilates. She also received training through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as a Certified Health Coach. Her love of golf led her to become certified as a TPI Golf Medical & Fitness Professional.
Christine's goal of keeping patients moving and healthy in a safe and supportive environment inspired her to create Core Balance Pilates, a sister company to Core Balance PT that offers online and in-person pilates and fitness for anyone who wants to start exercising but is fearful of getting injured or unsure of how to get started.

I've been to Chris many times while rehabbing a hip replacement. She intuitively knew where the source of my muscular issue was and helped me step by step in strengthening the relevant muscles. She is alert to discomfort & knows when to delete or modify a suggested exercise. I like that she focuses on one patient at a time & will even get down on the fiser to demonstrate an exercise for me. She is always prompt, cheerful, encouraging and professional. Recommend her highly to anyone needing PT.

Christine is by far the best physical therapist I've been to. She is very attentive and takes her time making sure I am doing my exercizes properly and with good technique. I've seen improvement in my stability and strength after each visit. I'm currently rehabing from the spine surgery.
