While working with clients in a collaborative fashion Cody most commonly employs the use of CBT, Motivational Interviewing, ACT, and client centered therapeutic approaches. He also often uses supportive confrontation to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves while incorporating psychoeducation to help them learn effective coping strategies to manage their needs.
