Hello there, I am looking forward to working with you. During appointments with me, you can expect a professional, yet friendly demeanor with a hint of silliness. I offer a safe, understanding space and prioritize open communication. I know working through life’s problems alone can feel daunting, even impossible. I will work with you to identify your problems, develop healthy coping skills, find healthy support, and enact behavioral changes. I foster self-confidence in my clients to empower them to make positive changes in their lives.
I work with clients ages 14 to 65 and treat anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, life transitions, peer relationships, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem problems, stress, dual diagnoses, impulse control disorders, and mood disorders. I utilize motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and supportive/solution-focused therapy. I am of Mexican American and Native American ethnicity and identify as an “Urban Native.”
