Hello! I'm Courtney, a psychotherapist. It has been a dream of mine to work with others since a very young age. An interesting story—growing up, my mother and grandmother watched soap operas, and one of the actresses played a psychotherapist who helped people. From that point on, I knew I wanted to be a psychotherapist when I grew older. Before I was old enough to work, I volunteered, gaining early exposure to the field. Over many years, my experience has provided me with numerous opportunities that have shaped who I am today. I have been fortunate to work in communities, hospitals, group homes, jails, and a Head Start program. These experiences helped me see individuals in different environments facing various challenges and complexities. I bring all of this experience to my role as a psychotherapist. My background allows me to understand how certain environments and experiences directly affect people. It also gives me insight into the overall picture, which is extremely important when treating clients who have had traumatic experiences and mental illness. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, which further equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
