I work with young people of all ages living with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and beyond. Clients can be at any stage of working through their issues, but they would hopefully be ready for us to work together to assess their needs, create some attainable goals, and work towards positive growth. Since no one treatment method works for everyone, I work hard to personalize each one of my clinical relationships with my clients. I create a warm and safe environment, prioritizing building trust and open communication, in order to give room for clients to explore their stories with me. My methods are informed by Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. My main goal in working with clients is to validate their experiences, to bring awareness to their own automatic body responses to stress, and to work on practical skills to help them in their day to day lives. A little about me: I am a big nerd interested in video games, board games, D&D, history, films, and just about everything. I am originally from Texas/California, but Washington has been home for me for the last six years. I have a beautiful dog named Aravis Bark-heena (""""Aery"""" for short) and I always want to show pictures of her to people. I am also part of the LGBTQ+ community and have a faith background that continues to be important to me.
