Hello, my name is Crystal McWilliams, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work with Makin Wellness. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Mansfield University and my master’s degree in social work from Temple University. Throughout my career I have enjoyed working with older adults who are dealing with life transitions especially centered around loss. I have done extensive work with individuals who are facing a new cancer diagnosis or those dealing with chronic pain.
I believe every person has the ability to make the change they desire to see; they may need a partner to help them along the way. I’m here to be your support through this process, I have a big toolbox of techniques that we can use to help with your healing. Our bodies carry pain, and we will learn where that pain originates and how we can direct it away from the body so you can move forward with a healthier approach to your life. If you are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, loss, sadness, grief, and fears around life’s transitions, please reach out so we can begin your journey toward healing. We are our best advocates, sometimes you just need help finding our way. It would be my honor to walk this journey with you and I applaud you for taking this first step.
