“Libby was great! Super personable and transparent which is always appreciated. We were able to have an awesome initial intake session and she took extra time to make sure all questions from both sides were answered before moving forward with more regular appointments.”

Getting to know Libby Meoli

I believe that everyone is doing their best at any given time and are motivated to be the best version of themselves possible, although that does not mean that we always know how to get there. Having a therapeutic relationship with a trusted therapist can provide a safe place to process difficult emotions, help identify patterns of thinking and behavior that no longer serve us, or outline goals for the future and develop a plan of action. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). My education includes a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University, a Master of Education in School Counseling from West Chester University, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Trauma and Resilience from Wilmington University. I have clinical experience ranging from field experience working with children and adolescents within a school setting to 7 years of experience working with adults in substance use treatment programs and their family members. My current role as a psychotherapist working with adults on a primarily individual basis to cope with life’s challenges is where I find tremendous fulfillment and compatibility. These diverse experiences have allowed me to develop a passion for working with people to improve their ability to cope with life’s many challenges, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss, substance use, codependency, and family or relationship struggles. I specialize in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention, Solution-Focused Therapy and Psychoeducation to develop an approach that is individualized for every client.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During our first session, the primary focus will be on gathering information to determine if my knowledge and experience make me a good fit and if you feel comfortable working with me. From there, sessions are much less formal with a focus on building trust and rapport in the therapeutic relationship and focusing on each client’s unique therapy goals. I find great value in talking about therapy in therapy, or having open and collaborative discussions about what is working in therapy and if any adjustments are needed. This also applies to transitioning out of or reducing the frequency of therapeutic work when the time is right.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
