I want to hear your story. Tell me about your pain and your joy, your successes and your heartbreaks. The events of your life, whether pleasing or not, hold insight into who you are and, more importantly, who you want to be. Together, we can construct meaning and purpose from these moments to figure out what’s serving you and what isn’t. It is my belief that emotions and thoughts are not all good or all bad but, instead, are tools to be intensified or diminished as you see fit.
Using a psychodynamic and attachment-based approach, I offer a judgement free space to sort through the complexities of your relationships and feelings. I’ve worked with adults and adolescents ranging from students to artists to corporate professionals. I can help you manage anxiety, depression, rage, grief, self-loathing, life transitions, family dynamics, trauma, addiction, passive suicidality, eating disorders and disordered eating, gender and sexuality questions and the many other experiences that will come up.
I’ve lived in New York City for over 15 years and received my master’s from New York University’s Silver School. I have post graduate training from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and have certificates in Mental Health First Aid, Rape Crisis Intervention and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
