Cynthia McGregor treats patients starting at 6 years old. Cyndi McGregor is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. She has experience in life transitions, communication, anxiety issues, and depression from her training and work in hospice and addiction fields, aiding clients challenged by these and other life issues.
Cyndi has experience working with individuals, couples, LGBT clients, families, children, first responders, and military personnel. She utilizes interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Psychodynamic approaches.
Cyndi views each client's experience as unique and works to discover individual strengths, discern life patterns, and aid clients in exploring what they need to grow and be present. She helps couples enhance intimacy, communication, and conflict management. Families may be encouraged, via a Bowenian model, to explore complex family interactions and recognize patterns interfering with healthy communication and problem solving.
