I am a multicultural licensed therapist with two decades of experience helping my patients "let go" of past trauma, get "unstuck" from mood disorders, improve their self-esteem and self-image, and create and foster fulfilling relationships with themselves and others. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and my MS in Applied Psychology from Walden University, as well as my MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I employ an integrative approach encompassing cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, narrative, and solution-focused modalities. My direct, no-nonsense approach to therapy is perfect for the individual who is ready to implement change during our first session. Some issues that my patients address include depression, anxiety, imposter syndrome, PTSD, relationship difficulties, sleep disturbance, body image, and substance use.
