Are you feeling alone or stuck? I am an experienced licensed independent social worker with over ten years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient and inpatient settings. I have experience working with relationship issues, self-esteem building, anger management, anxiety, and depression. There is no right or wrong way to navigate your journey with therapy. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thoughts. I also use motivational interviewing, a client-centered counseling style that incorporates empathy, active listening, and the client's reasons for change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with young adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and depression. While we work together, you can expect open communication in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I believe transparency between patient and provider is crucial for building a strong rapport.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I decided to enter the mental health field because I was intrigued by how the human body can be so resilient. There is such power in being able to take control of your own life. Watching people gain their lives back has motivated me to continue to do the work that I do. Everyone deserves a chance at a self-fulfilling life. I believe in working as a team to identify and set goals that matter to you, whether they focus on improving relationships, building self-esteem, reducing self-harm, or another personal objective.
