Dr. Del Vecchio's mission is to extend his expertise in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy through Princeton's group of Physical Therapists. "Get better every day!" is Dave's motto and it is applied to each and every patient. This passion for physical therapy and ensuring that patients improve each day is shared by Princeton Physical Therapy Group's handpicked team of Physical Therapists, Athletic Trainers and hardworking support staff.
After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Human Movement and Sport Science from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, Dave went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. As Dr. Del Vecchio has developed his practice, he has acquired an expertise in hands-on treatment of the spine and the construction of post-operative and non-operative protocols, which are widely used for patients with herniated discs, scoliosis, stenosis, sacroiliac dysfunction and low back pain due to pregnancy. Dr. Del Vecchio has also performed extensive research, education, and treatment in his specialty area of Sports Medicine. Dave has been asked to lecture many times on topics such as The Proximal Influences on Knee Pain, Femoral Acetabular Impingement, Shoulder and Elbow injuries in the Overhead Athlete, Concussions, Ridding Aches and Pains at work and Injury Prevention for Youth Baseball.
Dave's leadership, teamwork and goal-oriented philosophies were initially founded from his involvement in sports. Dave played Div. 1 baseball in college, after playing baseball, soccer, & basketball in high school. Dave was able to utilize that background to help him in treating many athletes in the professional ranks in baseball, soccer, football and basketball, and knows what it takes to get his athletes.
