About Dr. Ashitha Thomas

Dr. Ashitha Thomas earned her Bachelors in Health Science and pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2016. She began her outpatient physical therapy career in 2016 working in outpatient orthopedics and has gained experience in treating a variety of neurological and orthopedic conditions. Dr. Thomas holds certifications from the McKenzie Institute in MDT (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy) of the lumbar spine and also has certified in Kinesiotaping level 1. Dr. Thomas is a very compassionate and dedicated professional, aiming to provide the best care for her patients. She provides appropriate treatment plans and therapeutic exercises that are joint friendly and the most effective for her patient population. In her spare time, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband and a 2 year old daughter who keeps her on her toes. Dr. Thomas also enjoys working out, dancing, reading physical therapy articles, and cooking.
