Hi there, I'm Debra! I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a Bachelor's degree from Hollins University. I have been practicing for over 30 years and have a great deal of experience in a variety of areas. I am client-centered in my approach but employ a variety of different strategies. It is often a difficult journey, and it is my goal to provide support and assistance during this process. My approach I have trained in and have experience with a variety of therapeutic approaches. Some of these include CBT, DBT, insight-oriented therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and hypnotherapy, to name a few. My therapeutic approach is specific to your needs and situation. My focus I work in a client-focused manner, using whatever therapeutic techniques are best for the given situation. These often evolve during the course of therapy as your needs and focus change. I have outlined in my profile the various issues and problems I am experienced in treating. My communication style I prefer thinking of my role as a guide along your journey. I have the tools and experience to provide support and guidance, but you will be doing the work! I can provide the tools for you to use.
