I arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment. There was no one at the check-in desk. I stood at that desk, while people walked by, walked around, no one ever checked me in to inquire about my appointment, etc. After waiting for 30 minutes and no one checking me in or even acknowledging my presence, I left. ?

When I arrived I gave the woman at the front my name. She paused, pointed to someone else and said she’d take care of me. Twenty minutes later I went back to the front and the same woman asked me what my name was and what I was doing there. I gave her my name again and she said I did not have an appointment. I showed her my Zocdoc confirmation and she didn’t see my appointment and that they don’t really use Zocdoc. Then she said they texted me. I did find a text that morning. It said
Hi Neil! This is Sloane Stecker PT, we got your ZocDoc request. Unfortunately, we do not have any availability for an evaluation until the week of 7/8.
But I had a confirmed appointment and there were multiple appointments available on Zocdoc for this week.
