Edith is especially passionate about working with grief, loss, and bereavement. She understands that the grieving process is deeply personal and often misunderstood, and she guides clients through it with empathy and clinical expertise. Whether helping someone process the death of a loved one, navigate complicated family dynamics, or cope with chronic illness or life transitions, Edith uses evidence-based methods including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals find meaning, healing, and hope.
With additional experience in supporting clients through ADHD, PTSD, postpartum depression, and school-related challenges, Edith also works with specialized populations including individuals on the autism spectrum, military personnel and veterans, and first responders. Her integrative approach includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), parenting support, and mindfulness-based strategies. She offers services in Spanish and German, allowing her to connect with clients in the language that feels most natural and comfortable to them.
Outside of her clinical work, Edith enjoys hiking, reading, writing poetry, and spending time with loved ones. These activities reflect her belief in balance, self-expression, and the importance of nurturing personal connections”values that deeply inform her therapeutic style.
