Are you struggling with strong emotions, overwhelmed with anxiety or negative thoughts? Do your thoughts and emotions keep you from achieving your goals and living an authentic life with those you love? Avoiding dealing difficult emotions can keep us from true connection with others and stuck in negative patterns of behavior.
In therapy we identify what matters and what may be holding you back from achieving your goals. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and others, we explore how thinking affects behavior, develop effective coping skills, and experience willingness to live life as it is when it is aligned with our values.
I have been a practicing mental health clinician since 2012 and have worked in both public and private healthcare systems serving adults with a range of issues and diagnoses including mood disorders, relationship problems, substance use, and psychosis. I have been fully licensed in the state of Washington since 2016 and am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Clinical Social Work Association (CSWA). I look forward to talking with you.
