What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a calm, supportive, and collaborative environment. I believe every person’s story is unique, so I take time to understand your experiences, concerns, and goals before recommending any treatment plan. Our first session is about listening and learning — making sure you feel heard and understood. I combine evidence-based medication management with supportive, practical therapy. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way of your well-being and build a plan that feels both manageable and effective. I explain options clearly, answer your questions, and involve you in every step of the process so you feel confident about your care. Most importantly, I want you to feel safe and respected. My goal is to provide care that not only reduces symptoms but also helps you feel more balanced, resilient, and hopeful about your future.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first session, I focus on truly understanding you and not just your symptoms, but your personal story, medical and mental health history, and what you hope to achieve from care. I’ll ask thoughtful questions about your current challenges, daily life, and past treatments so we can form a clear picture of your needs. From there, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan together. This might include medication management, supportive therapy, or a combination of both, depending on what will best help you feel better and move forward. I always explain my recommendations clearly, answer your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable and involved in every decision. Follow-up visits are collaborative and focused on your progress. We’ll talk about how you’re feeling, make any needed adjustments, and build practical strategies to help you maintain stability and long-term wellness. My goal is for each session to feel safe, respectful, and empowering.
