Ekiba Smith, LMHC

Ekiba Smith, LMHC

Psychotherapist
FL
My name is Ekiba Smith, and I am a licensed mental health counselor and the founder of Wellness Mindset Counseling Services. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2009 with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling. I am a trauma-informed/focused therapist and a certified school counselor for kindergarten through grade 12. From a very early age, I had an affinity for mental health and wellness; I constantly envisioned a career in this field and worked hard throughout my college years to accomplish a childhood dream. My love for what I do has only grown over the years. I have a passion for helping others be the best version of themselves, and I care deeply about their wellbeing. My goal is to help others improve their quality of life by exploring, gaining awareness, developing much-needed skills, and becoming empowered through education and support. Since 2006, I have provided individual and group therapy sessions to adolescents and adults in various settings, including residential programs, homes, via Telehealth, and in schools. Every individual's circumstances are unique; for that reason, each client is treated based on their individual needs, and all my sessions are tailored to address the challenges unique to them. I look forward to working with you so we can start your journey to wellness!
