Psychotherapist
OH
Hello. Welcome to counseling, where you can receive support for issues affecting your life. With over a decade of experience, I have assisted children, adolescents, and adults dealing with various mental health concerns. My approach I employ a humanistic approach, believing individuals can change their lives, and I act as a guide to support them. I also integrate action-oriented methods like Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Reality Therapy when appropriate. My focus I foster a safe environment that enables clients to express their authentic selves. Using a humanistic approach, I actively listen and collaboratively develop a strategic plan to guide clients toward their desired direction. My communication style I maintain a respectful and patient tone during sessions. Understanding that communication can be challenging, I strive to create a safe space. While honest and transparent, my approach remains careful and respectful. My journey to mental healthcare I pursued counseling to help individuals navigate challenging circumstances. Starting as a school counselor, I sought to offer more comprehensive treatment, leading me to earn a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University and become a licensed professional counselor. Over a decade later, I continue to work with clients. My goals for you I assist clients in setting and achieving treatment goals collaboratively.
