Liz Quiñones recognizes that problems are complex and offers support beyond cookie-cutter answers. With the understanding that each person has an individual experience, she collaborates with clients to create goals for problems that seem overwhelming to deal with alone. She builds authentic connections with her clients, acting as a collaborative, non-judgmental, and hands-on guide in creating and sticking with goals. She also provides guidance for couples through communication issues, infidelity, and conflict resolution. Her experience working with families whose loved one was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) lends itself to support you if you are a caregiver to someone with a mental or physical disability.
She has a BA in Psychology from NYU and an M.S.E.d in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
Therapy Brooklyn prepares and submits all insurance claims for clients with PPO out of Network benefits.
