Dr. Emilian Emeagwali is an experienced, manually trained clinician. Holding a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, from Stony Brook University, She has earned the highest respect from both her colleagues and patients not only because of her special skills; she treats all her patients in a warm, caring and compassionate manner.
Practicing physical therapy for over 17 years in various physical therapy settings, she uses specialized technique such as Myofascial Release, Mulligan’s Spinal and Peripheral Joint Mobilization, Muscle Energy Technique, PNF and many more to rehabilitates her patients.
Dr. Emeagwali is an attentive physical therapist; she listens to her patient’s history and complains. Her patients instantly connect with her and they feel at home in her clinic. Her specialty included but not limited to adult and pediatric with orthopedic condition, post surgical, neurological, vertigo, TMJ, sensory integration and many more. She is directly involved in each case and always available for consultation, advice and direction.
In quest to respond to her community need for state of the art outpatient physical therapy, Dr. Emeagwali founded and opened State of the Art Physical Therapy Rehabilitation in 2007. She also serves as a clinical instructor for students pursuing physical therapy degree.

Dr. Emeagwali was very professional and knowledgable.
Would recommend her. However, I was a little annoyed with the fact that I couldn't receive a doctors note for work right away. It had to be faced in or picked up on another day. There should be a standard doctors note readily available for your patients.
