Considering psychotherapy is an important and often courageous decision. As a clinical psychologist who specializes in a wide range of mood and interpersonal difficulties, I will work with you to tailor a therapy that is comprehensive and sensitive to your needs.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and have completed post-doctoral psychoanalytic training at Columbia University and post-doctoral clinical psychology training from Weill Cornell Medical College. I am a certified therapist and supervisor in Transference Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), an evidence based treatment for personality disorders. I currently supervise and consult to organizations, psychiatrists, psychologists, PhD students in clinical psychology, and other mental health trainees in assessment and treatment. I am currently an Associate Professor on the Faculty of the Clinical Psychology PhD program of City College and the Graduate Center of CUNY.
