Getting to know Erin Davis

Do you feel stuck in worry spirals that seem impossible to turn off? You’re successful in your career, but the constant doubts make you second-guess everything. That voice in your head—overanalyzing texts, wondering if you did something wrong, and craving reassurance—is exhausting. You’re great at planning, yet uncertainty about whether you’re “enough” leaves you drained. I understand. Breaking the cycle of overthinking is tough—but it’s possible. You can quiet those racing thoughts and bring joy back into your life. Perfectionists like you can create relationships that feel just as fulfilling as your career. Imagine waking up without that knot of anxiety about the day ahead. In our work together, you’ll learn strategies to stop analysis paralysis, trust your instincts, and finally enjoy life without constant doubt. Your stress doesn’t feel “normal”—and you hate that word anyway. The truth is, silencing that inner critic is one of the hardest things to do alone. Maybe you’ve shared your struggles with friends, only to feel judged, misunderstood, or given advice you’ve already tried. As women, we juggle unique challenges—work, motherhood, gender roles, self-esteem—on top of the anxiety that runs in the background. Therapy can change that. Just one hour a week can shift the time you spend obsessing, stressing, and doubting into living with more ease and confidence. Book your appointment with me today through Zocdoc. Once scheduled, you’ll receive electronic paperwork from my client portal, SimplePractice. Please complete it asap to secure your spot. Insurance & Fees ? In-network with Aetna and Ambetter ? My services are NOT covered by Medicaid ?? Out-of-network: $225 for the first session, $195 for follow-ups (I use Thrizer to help you get reimbursed upfront with your out-of-network benefits.)

What should a new client know about working with you?

There are immediate openings for new clients who struggle with relationship anxiety and persistent doubts. Our work together will focus on your self-talk, identifying where you're struggling, and building on what you already do well. In our sessions, we'll explore the root causes of your relationship worries in a nonjudgmental, compassionate environment. Together, we'll develop practical strategies to help you manage anxiety, reduce overthinking, and build confidence in your relationship decisions. Most of my clients begin to feel relief after just a few sessions. We'll typically start with weekly appointments and gradually transition to every other week as your symptoms improve. My goal is for you to achieve lasting results that transform how you experience relationships. ### Treatment Approach: - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - Compassion-Focused Techniques - Exposure-Based Methods - Mindfulness Practices - Strength-Based Strategies - Family Systems Perspective - Culturally Sensitive Care I also offer faith-integrated counseling for clients who desire a Christian perspective in their therapy journey. Our first session will involve getting to know your specific concerns and developing an initial plan. I'll provide you with tools you can begin using right away, so you'll leave with something concrete to practice between sessions. Remember, seeking help for relationship anxiety isn't a sign of weakness—it's a courageous step toward the peace of mind and relationship confidence you deserve.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our therapy journey begins with a thorough assessment of your relationship concerns and anxiety patterns. In our first 1-2 sessions, I'll listen carefully to understand your unique experience with relationship doubts, the impact they're having on your life, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. Initial Sessions (1-2) During our first meeting, we'll discuss your relationship history, current concerns, and the specific thought patterns that cause you distress. I'll ask questions to help identify triggers for your anxiety and the ways you've tried to manage it so far. By the end of this assessment phase, we'll have a shared understanding of your challenges and a clear direction for our work together. Active Treatment Phase (8-12 sessions) A typical therapy session with me follows this structure: 1. Check-in (5-10 minutes): We'll review your experiences since our last session, including any challenges or victories with the tools we're implementing. 2. Skill-building (25-30 minutes): The core of our session focuses on developing practical techniques to manage relationship anxiety. This might include: - Identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns - Practicing mindfulness exercises to reduce rumination - Learning to tolerate uncertainty without seeking excessive reassurance - Developing self-compassion when doubts arise 3. Practice planning (10-15 minutes): We'll create specific homework assignments tailored to your unique situation, giving you concrete ways to apply what we've discussed between sessions. Throughout our work together, I take an active, collaborative approach. I won't just listen silently—I'll offer feedback, ask clarifying questions, and provide education about relationship anxiety. My style balances warmth and empathy with practical, solution-focused strategies. Maintenance (3-4 sessions) As you begin experiencing relief from relationship anxiety, we'll gradually space out our sessions and focus on preventing relapse.

Amazing Experience!
Talking with Erin has made me feel so much better. She listens, understands and knows what to do next. She’s great at what she does. She also listens without judgment- which is huge for me.
Erin is amazing. From the moment we first met, to the end of the first session, I felt seen, heard, and understood. It’s rare to find a therapist like her - one willing to meet you right where you’re at, and guide you to your own mental clarity using practical tools, not a bunch of fluff & theory. Every time we talk, I feel like I gain a new skillset to show up how I want to.
Erin is patient and has a client first approach. I appreciated her listening and providing the opportunity to practice new skills.
Erin is one of the best OCD therapists I’ve found, she really knows what she’s talking about. The techniques and strategies she’s given me have made it possible for me to function with my OCD and not let it affect my whole life.
