I believe that you are in control of your story and that you have many strengths that will help you in overcoming your challenges. We can work together through a cognitive behavioral therapy with an eclectic approach. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
My focus
My areas of focus involve women's issues, LGBTQ+, stress, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. I also take into account environmental factors like community, culture, or poverty.
My communication style
I like to set a calm and supportive environment for client's to feel safe to talk about difficult issues. Working with me would involve unconditional positive regard for your goals and strength based discussions on how to achieve them.
My journey to therapy
I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. I am fascinated by psychology and how the mind works. I am also highly motivated by helping others. Therapy has become a great combination of both of my passions.
