I am Garrett Gomes, LMFT. I am a License & Marriage Family Therapist, who is licensed in the State of Hawaii. I use a Humanistic perspective when working with my clients.
My approach
When working with clients, I use Solution Focused Based therapy, Cognitive Challenging therapy, Psychodynamic Education therapy, Existential therapy, and other therapies that would benefit my clients.

I am comfortable working with most clients who suffer from diverse mental health issues.

When communicating with my clients, I speak in a humanistic manner and engage my clients on the doctrine of, being respectful and open-minded.
My journey to mental healthcare
There are many paths that have brought me to this aspect of my life. The main aspect is that at some point and time, we need to heal from past injuries that happened in our lives.

Goal setting must be realistic and measurable. It is also up to the client, to clearly state what goal or goals they want to work towards and how they want to measure those goals.
