I understand that many people you may talk to about sexual trauma or intimacy concerns only feel comfortable up to a certain point—and that point is often reached quickly. Once the conversation crosses the threshold into the details of the lived experience, it can become convoluted. Some people in our support system exit stage left, either physically or emotionally. Not because they do not care, but because it may be too difficult a conversation for them to have.
This leaves a void for sexual trauma survivors and people facing intimacy concerns who seek sex therapy. I wanted to fill that void in the best way I could. Hence, I created Liaison for sex therapy, relationship therapy, and sexual trauma therapy.
As a sex therapist, I believe you deserve a liaison who can listen without imposing their own values, be open to understanding, and non-judgmentally dwell in that moment with all its shades of gray from a psychological perspective.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas.
